We design and build insulated garden studios around your creative work, from a small space for drawing to a larger room for making and editing. Every building is made to measure in our own Shropshire workshop and fitted by our own team.

Choosing your range
Start with what you will do in the room, the equipment it needs and how often you will use it. We can then help you compare the ranges without paying for features your work does not need.

For a smaller art or craft space, Pods offer foil insulation and vinyl flooring at an accessible starting price. Electrics and the foundation are optional extras. Discuss your equipment and comfort needs with us before deciding whether a Pod is the right fit.

Our core range includes mineral wool and PIR insulation, electrics and laminate flooring. Optional partition walls give you more ways to separate making from storage or editing, with heating and connectivity options to discuss around your work.

Choose Signature for our premium turnkey approach, with SIP construction, electrics and foundation supply and installation included. We agree the layout and finish with you. Creative equipment and any specialist studio fit-out need their own place in the brief.
For painting and drawing, start with the position of the easel or worktable and how daylight moves across it. A photography setup may need space to control light as well as let it in. For screen-based work, consider reflections before choosing the glazing layout.
Leave enough uninterrupted wall space for shelves, materials or backdrops. More glass is not automatically more useful if it removes the wall your work depends on.
Think about the work you do before and after the creative part. You may need a clear table for cutting fabric, storage for canvases or an editing desk away from the main working surface.
Measure equipment and materials before deciding the footprint. Include room to move around them and check that the doors will accommodate the largest item you need to bring inside.
If the brief includes machinery, dust or specialist extraction, talk those requirements through at the start. Our Garden Workshops page is the more useful starting point for a dedicated workshop.
Recording a spoken voice, practising an instrument and using a drum kit place different demands on a room. Tell us what you want to record or rehearse, when you will use the studio and how close it will be to neighbouring homes.
Acoustic panelling is an optional feature on Garden Rooms and Signature. It should not be treated as a promise that neighbours will not hear you. We need to agree what your project requires before describing it as soundproof.
Include the power needs of your equipment and task lighting in the electrical brief. If you edit, upload files or take online lessons, discuss the connection to the house too.
The internal electrical package is included on Garden Rooms and Signature and optional on Pods. Heating, air conditioning and connectivity are optional features on Garden Rooms and Signature. Check those choices with us so your studio is planned for the hours you expect to spend in it. Connection of the garden room to the main property electrical supply is not included unless expressly stated within the quotation. This work can be quoted separately if required, subject to a site survey and the requirements of our electrical contractor.

We make our buildings in Telford and arrange delivery and installation for your project. Ask us to confirm eligibility for free delivery and installation within 150 miles of Telford. Our 10-year structural guarantee is subject to its terms. Electrical work is carried out through qualified electrical contractors.

Where we install
Looking for a garden room company near you? Our own team installs across the Midlands, Wales, the North West and Yorkshire, with no third-party haulier and qualified electrical contractors carrying out electrical work. Inside the ring, delivery and installation are included in your price. The zone covers 50 counties, reaching County Durham in the north, Suffolk and Essex in the east, Devon and Dorset in the south, and the west Wales coast.
Further afield we still build and install. Ask us and we will quote the delivery separately rather than folding it in quietly.

Tell us about the instruments, volume and recording needs before selecting the specification. Acoustic panelling is available on Garden Rooms and Signature, but it does not establish the sound isolation your particular use may need. Any performance requirement must be agreed for the project.
Garden Rooms and Signature offer optional partition walls and internal doors. Discuss how you want to divide the room and how each area will receive light. Check that both spaces remain usable once furniture and equipment are included.
A studio can include an editing or admin desk. If the main purpose is everyday desk-based work, our Garden Office page will help you plan the workspace and compare the most relevant ranges.
No. Kitchens and bathrooms are optional, separately quoted upgrades on Granny Annexes only, including their internal plumbing. Tell us if water or drainage is essential so we can talk through the annexe route before you design the room.
The starting prices refer to the building range, not a furnished art, photography or recording studio. Equipment, specialist installations and any fit-out services must be itemised in your agreed quote.
