Kitchenette

A kitchenette planned around your annexe

A kitchenette should fit the daily routine of the person using it. Think about what they will prepare, the storage they need and how the space connects with seating or dining.

A kitchen or kitchenette is an optional, separately quoted Granny Annexe upgrade. Its quotation includes internal plumbing, with the layout and specification agreed for your project.

Choosing your range

Begin with the annexe range

Choose a kitchen layout for inspiration in the Granny Annexe configurator, then ask us for its separate upgrade quotation, including internal plumbing. A kitchenette is an annexe upgrade only: it is not offered on Garden Buildings, Garden Pods, Garden Rooms or Signature.

If cooking facilities are central to your plans, tell us from the outset so the building and its intended use can be considered together.

Daily essentials within the annexe

A kitchenette creates space to prepare drinks and meals without returning to the main house. Worktop and storage can be planned around the person using the annexe and how they cook.

Choose a layout in the annexe configurator as a starting point. The final units, worktop, sink and appliance scope are agreed in the separate kitchen quotation.

Internal plumbing in the upgrade quote

The kitchen upgrade quotation includes internal plumbing, so the kitchen and its pipework are planned together.

Connections to mains water, waste and electricity outside the annexe are separate. You can arrange them or ask Noah to quote for the site work required.

Next steps

A kitchen that fits the living space

A compact layout can keep more of the annexe free for dining and seating; a larger layout can provide more worktop and storage. We plan those choices alongside the room’s doors, windows and circulation space.

Cooking facilities are offered on Granny Annexes only. The complete living-space design and relevant approvals are considered together.

Common questions

Kitchenette questions

Does kitchenette mean a full kitchen with all appliances?

Not automatically. The specification must identify what is supplied.

Can I choose a particular kitchen brand?

Tell us your preference, but confirm current availability before treating it as agreed.

Can I add a kitchenette to a standard Garden Room?

No. A kitchenette is an optional upgrade on Granny Annexes only. If you want cooking facilities, start with the annexe range.

Can you price it without knowing the site?

An initial discussion is useful, but service requirements and the agreed design are needed to establish the complete scope.
