Covid19
COVID-19 UPDATE
To all of our customers,
As we are still in unprecedented times due to the pandemic, we may experience issues such as reduced staff, suppliers and stock availability at this time. This may affect some customers orders however we are working hard behind the scenes to avoid a minimum amount of disruption. We will try our very best to manufacture and deliver all of our customers’ buildings on or near to your scheduled delivery date, however we would kindly ask for your understanding during this time.
Noah Garden Rooms is following all the government’s Coronavirus guidelines and as before, the health of our staff, customers and suppliers are our main priority. We will continue to review the situation weekly and will contact all of our customers 14-19 days before your scheduled delivery date to confirm we are still able to deliver.
If you are concerned about having your delivery from us during this time and would rather postpone to a later date, you can contact our office to request this. This may be the case for example if you have a vulnerable person within your household. We aim to work with our customers as best as possible however due to manufacturing, stock and logistics we would require a minimum of 21 days’ notice from your current scheduled delivery date.
In the unfortunate event that yourself or a member of your household develops symptoms of Coronavirus and are subsequently in isolation, we would kindly ask for you to contact our office to inform us prior to delivery so that we can postpone delivery. Your order will stand but will be pushed back to the next available date.
Due to the current circumstances, members of our office team are working from home separately. We are currently receiving a high volume of calls with regards to customer’s orders. Telephone calls can take longer to deal with as staff are in multiple locations. We would request, where possible, for you to use email as the first port of contact and we can then telephone customers as required.
We have needed to put some additional measures in place and these measures will supersede any areas where there is conflicting information. Please ensure you are happy with these before confirming your order.
IMPORTANT – GUIDELINES FOR INSTALLATION
We have put in place strict measures to ensure the safety of our delivery teams and customers. We will be making our deliveries completely contactless by putting in place the following guidelines.
- We request that parking is made available outside your own property. Where this is not possible, please speak to the office as soon as possible. This is to minimise the number of people (i.e. general public) that our staff could potentially come into contact with;
- We are requesting all customers to stay in their homes when our teams arrive and during the build. Please ensure that children are also kept inside during the delivery.
- All access to be clear and gates to be left open so there is no need for our teams to touch any gates or items that may be in their path.
- If the building is going on a base area that is larger than the building, we request for this to be chalk marked before arrival.
- If you feel the need to speak to our team, please use a first floor window.
- Upon completion, you will not be asked to sign any paperwork. Our teams will liaise with our office when they are finished. We can then inform you to check over the building while our teams wait in the work vehicle.
- If you have requested the panels to be made smaller for access and you were due to carry these yourself at any point during the delivery (i.e. long carry, through a house etc), our team will unfortunately not be able to fit the building.
IMPORTANT – GUIDELINES FOR DELIVERY ONLY
- We request that parking is made available outside your own property. Where this is not possible, please speak to the office as soon as possible. This is to minimise the number of people (i.e. general public) that our staff could potentially come into contact with;
- We are attempting to send an additional member of staff so that the building can be unloaded for you without coming into contact with you. However, we do still require two people to help unload the building (as per our standard terms and conditions) in case we are unable to send the additional team member.
- Deliveries are curb side only.
- Upon completion, you will not be asked to sign any paperwork. Our teams will liaise with our office when they have unloaded. We can then inform you to check over the building while our teams wait in the work vehicle.
IMPORTANT – GUIDELINES FOR COLLECTION
- We require at least two people to load the building, if two people are not present, we will not be able to help load the vehicle and your collection would possibly be unsuccessful.
- In the event that a customer chooses to collect or arrange their own courier – it is the responsibility of the customer and/or the courier company to check each panel of the building before loading onto their vehicle. We accept no responsibility for any items damaged in transit or reported damaged after they have left our unit.
- You will need to choose a suitable vehicle for collection, we strongly recommend a flatbed van due to the panels sizes.
Although these measures may seem simple, they are extremely important to us. They are in place for both the safety of you and our teams. If these rules are not adhered to, then we will be informing our teams to leave site even if the delivery is not complete. There would be no refunds or re-attends for such actions. Safety is paramount in the current situation.
If you have any issues or concerns with the above (maybe you feel a certain measure cannot be done for a specific reason), please contact our team to discuss this further.
The standard terms and conditions still also apply so please ensure that you have read through these as well.
Finally, we would like to thank every customer for their understanding during this time.
